Seryosohin ang Di Pagiging Seryoso Attemp No. 03: Monday Malady

Monday

Glorious first day of the workweek - when you get dem feelz of being productive, making your boss proud, feeling good about yer professional zelf. Then you down with the flu-PLUS-upset-bloated-good-lord-intestines-PLUS-intergalactical-headache-caused-by-your-hyperactive-scumbag-brain-which-kept-you-awake-all-night-PLUS-swollen-right-eye.

Needless to say, I didn't allow myself to get sympathetic comments from workmates. Nor did I gave them an opportunity to give me advice that I should just rest at home and I'd be like ---

"Oh. Thanks, guys. But me strong; me can do this. For the firm!" *wink2x

Gadamet. I don't like that much attention from just about everyone. I just want your attention.

WUT.

Diagnosis

The only reason why I'm writing this is to make myself feel productive at the very least. And to make more sense out of this experience.

<moment of silence for me to think in a more structured manner>

Meh. Fvck that.

IT'S FREAKIN' SUMMER ALREADY!

(Bye, kulimlim days!)

This is the reason why I got sick. It was sweltering when I was on my way to Power Plant Mall for my Sunday routine, i.e., eat at Kenny's, buy some groceries as current budget allows, pay the Globe bill, and do something productive at SB-One Rockwell. I swear I haven't been to the Sahara desert, but there's no way that I'm going back now.

Then when I got to SB and chilled (literally) for a few hours doing something productive (I hope), it was freakin' ANTARTICA.

Damn you, SB! Who do you think I am? ELSA?

Moments later, with my cappuccino all down, I finally felt how pregnancy was like. Then back of my eyes were warm - warmer than the fuzzy feeling when Senpai finally notices you.

I now have luvnat (pronounced love-not)- a variant strain of fever, scientific name feveriolis puchanginum. In English, this is "slight fever". In Cavite, it's pabebeng lagnat. Parang love.

Doctor: "Always remember that Katy Perry is not good for your health."

Me: "Noted with thanks, doc."
