Now that your college days are over, now that you're going to face challenges you've never faced before, now that you will be watched by that rose-tinted window, I just wish to tell you a few things.
ONE. Always remember that you are awesome.
Academics, extra-curricular, swag, you're top-notch. I shrink when placed beside your credentials. I go swag when placed beside your photo.
Life will throw challenges at you. And, no doubt, they will make you question if all the efforts you've exerted could ever be enough. You'll be forced to re-examine if you're worth all the accolades you received in college. 'No doubt' because you're that type of person who never brags and who always looks inward for your faults.
My dear sister, it's normal to doubt. In fact, it's healthy to doubt yourself. You're already awesome for that. But don't ever think you're never enough. You are. You have always been. I've witnessed all those sleepless nights and torrents of worry that made your cute little forehead wrinkle. You've given so much of yourself. You are always enough. You just need to keep on doing what you've been doing for that's what life is all about. Just find the right balance.
TWO. Always remember to look up, up in the sky and gaze as the Blue Eagle fly.
We have been very fortunate to be formed the Atenean way. And through debate, we have seen what this world so desperately needs. Through the same commitment we made, we have been critical of ourselves. We see what else we need to improve on to help. And it is daunting. But keep your chin up and be always inspired by the Ateneo's ideals.
It will be difficult. It might even cripple you and make you feel less of who you were. But always stand by your principle, your beliefs, your core - that which makes this little bundle of joy, RBF, and awesomeness the humongous bundle of joy and awesomeness that she is to other people. My dear sister, believe me when I say it will all be worth it.
THREE. Always remember, as you would say, to "do more of what makes you happy".
You're one who easily stress about the tiniest of things. (I think we got this from Mama.) Be more chill and always do what makes you happy and fulfilled. At least, make this ride we call life a fun and happy one.
My dear sister, you are one of the best humans I've laid my eyes on. Thank you for the gift of you.
Here's to hoping that you'd always be that cute little girl whose hand I held when we're out alone in pueblo and whenever we're crossing the streets. But I guess no matter how RBF you try to be (or you don't try at all), you'd always be that little girl I always adore and would always protect.
(Finally) Always remember that I am always here for you.
Love,
Proud Kuya
P. S. Stay pabebe.
Sweet!!!!!
