Observations of Unfamiliar Creatures: Creature 001, the Creatures of Cordiality

I was sitting among beasts, who were moving around randomly and wildly as if lunatics, at night, in an unknown cavern. The cavern was dark yet polluted with strange colorful lights, much stranger than the warmth yellow of the moon at its fullest. Sometimes a beam of green hits me in the eye and I am forced to shrug it with an uninvited wink. A green light! Who has heard of a green light? Much less of a blue one or a purple one? And at night! It was as if these beasts abducted a rainbow and twisted and tightly constricted the poor thing to make it scatter its colors into different shapes to its horrendous pain.

I was brought to the cavern by the creatures who have taken a liking of me earlier in the evening. I met these rather friendly creatures in the patch of grassland situated in the middle of "concrete" land. (Concrete is the hardened secretion of a queer kind of creature seemingly controlled by the dominant creatures. I have noted a separate observation - work in progress - for this secretion, its creature of source, and how the dominant creatures control it for the entire phenomenon is quite complex and perplexing.) There were two of them who look very much alike yet still different enough for me to conclude, by mere observation, that they did not come from the same parent organism. Both of their skins were light, although varying in shade, and both wore a kind of cloth elongated vertically that covered the torso just a bit above the chest and the uppermost part of their thighs. There faces flush with a seemingly artificial flush, perhaps from applying dried red berries on their faces (which might be a symbol of sorts). These creatures of, I must say, cordiality struck me odd as they were virtually as of yet the only ones who bothered to initiate an interaction with me. Normally, these dominant creatures would ignore my presence (as I would prefer) for I would always assure that I do not pose a threat to them. So, you could just imagine the surprise on my face when these creatures approached me. Thankfully, my training prepared me. I recovered from my surprise quickly and just in time to properly respond to their inquiry (which still haunts me to this day):

"Hey! I've seen you around and you look cool. We're looking for some company. Wanna hangout?"

While at dread, I felt incredibly lucky to have already mastered their language (both verbal and nonverbal) enough for me to comprehend that if I don't follow them, I'll be glared at. And being glared at is not a good thing! The glare by any of this creature would signal all the rest that I am a threat! So, in response, I said in an assured yet not too overpowering voice (so as not to show fear nor dominance for it only incites their ferocity):

"Yah."

(I have learned with my dealings of them that this response is an affirmation of some sort. I have left a journal entry of that day.)

And in response to what I said, they produced strange sounds of high pitch as if imitating laughter. Then to my great shock, they pulled me by the arm. This gesture gave me both a sense of dread and comfort. Dread for I've never been this close to the dominant creature and, more so, to one that is so fresh to my senses (that is, as to their strange cordial gestures). Comfort, nonetheless, for I'm quite assured intuitively that they will not injure me anytime soon.

And so I was dragged to the cavern where the beams of light scatter. There, to my terror, I learned that these creatures of cordiality were also beasts of nocturnal lunacy (Creature 002).
